Chad brings a wide variety of experiences to the table and pulls from each of these areas when it comes to working with clients or with the rest of the Kinetix staff team. Chad has worked in the strength and conditioning world in some fashion since 2000, with a background in the military, teaching, formal education in exercise science and extensive continuing education from a wide variety of certifying bodies you can be sure that the entire picture of your health and fitness is taken into account when you step in the door of Kinetix, whether that is to attend a group class or to work directly with Chad. Chad’s role here at Kinetix is to build and guide an amazing staff of coaches whose passion is to help those they serve to find their best lives through health and fitness.
Chad is passionate about life, self-improvement, leadership, and fitness is an essential component to each of those passions. He enjoys being able to help people make physical and aesthetic related improvements but the aspect of coaching he appreciates most is finding that his members are making profound, life-altering changes that impact themselves, their families and those around them.

Melissa stepped away from her teaching career alongside her husband Chad in 2011 to open their own fitness facility. Years later she has found her passion in the nutrition and overall wellness side of health. Melissa is our in-house lifestyle and nutrition expert, she has a deep understanding of the behaviors that drive both our positive and potentially harmful decisions and how that shapes not only our health and wellness but our overall happiness in life. Melissa trains hard, kicks butt as a mother of two beautiful girls and helps her clients through some of the most profound health and wellness changes of their lives.
Melissa brings a passion for teaching, lifelong fitness, and proper nutrition to KINETIX, and in combination with her education and experience, she is dedicated to helping people transform their lives. Melissa also believes balance is an essential part of a healthy life — she loves pizza and chocolate, and spending time outdoors, away from the gym.
AKA “Coach Taco”…Zach, like a number of our staff, started as a member who made the decision to help guide those around him on their fitness journey. Zach is the mayor of our staff, loved by all…he takes a vested interest in not only our clients’ fitness and health but also in them as individuals, he truly cares so much for each person who walks through our doors and does everything in his power to help them succeed. Zach’s passions in fitness include Olympic Weightlifting, Rock Climbing, Hiking, and he is our in-house rowing and jump rope expert…he is a joy to be around and we are lucky to have him as part of our team.
Zach grew up as an athlete, playing soccer throughout his youth and racing downhill skiing for 5 years. When he entered the world of fitness for the first time at Kinetix, his ego was quickly checked. Zach decided he needed to learn and master the skills and philosophies of strength and conditioning and he continues to work toward that goal. As a coach, he loves being able to share the excitement of achievement when members reach their goals.

The other half of “Taco Bell”….Meg and Zach are partners in crime both in and out of the gym, they each bring their passion for life and their infectious positivity to everyone they encounter. Meg prides herself on not only making her way through her own fitness journey but also being a real life example of how far you can go if you set your mind to it. She is a passionate and enthusiastic guide to those looking to improve themselves. Meg has a unique ability to help people identify what they are truly capable of, and she brings joy and fun to every member she works with, whether it is one on one or in a group setting and you can always find her mingling at all our social events.
Meg gets just as much from the Kinetix community as she gives. She is a constant student who strives to learn from her experience as a coach and draws inspiration from the members. She is dedicated to ensuring that the members develop a sound foundation in proper movement mechanics as they progress through their fitness journeys and is a never-ending source of support and encouragement to everyone around her.
Matthew is a physical education teacher and a highly-experienced coach. He grew up involved in athletics and is an accomplished track and field athlete. After his high school track and field career ended, he found CrossFit his freshman year in college. Since then he has become an experienced and well-rounded coach, teacher, and Olympic weightlifting athlete. What he loves most about coaching at Kinetix is the members’ diligence and coach-ability, they commit to the philosophy and never stop working to achieve success.

Zach Williams has always gravitated towards physical activity and an environment where people are striving to get better at something through hard work, dedication and a good attitude. Always having been an athlete throughout school it was natural for Zach to begin to apply these methods to other people so that they can get better at their specific sport or health goal. Zach found CrossFit in 2011 and applied it to his own collegiate Football & Track & Field career to help him get overall stronger, faster and fitter. With success in his own performance, he started a collegiate club, gathered many of his fellow teammates and saw that this was something that he wanted to really invest in. Once word of a local gym opening near him was out he went Day 1 and asked for a job coaching. Since 2011 Zach has opened 2 new facilities with owners & worked for 5 very different, yet amazing gym owners. Zach likes to focus on nutrition having worked with many different programs and coaches to help with his own performance and specific issues with Ulcerative Colitis and chronic inflammation. Currently, Zach coaches full time at the gym, has remote nutrition clients and is an assistant for CrossFit Gymnastics Seminar Staff where he travels to teach Gymnastic specific seminars to other coaches to apply to their gyms. Zach enjoys training but really enjoys when he and the member really meet half way and work together to achieve those little victories that fuel their day with happiness and a sense of success.
From high school sports to falling in love with fitness through crossfit to getting personal programming to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. My aspiration of going from trainee to trainer were derived from the want to help others along their fitness journey. I won't just show and tell you how to do a workout. I will tell you what it will feel like and relate it back to my personal experiences to help you get the most out of the time you spent with me.

I've been involved with exercise since high school, and fell into CrossFit in 2012. Since 16, I've been involved with emergency services and dedicated to the belief that all humans should be able to move, lift, run, and feel the best that they can. Being a paramedic in the urban, and suburban, settings I know how far lack of general health can take someone. Using my knowledge from EMS, and passion for fitness, I became CrossFit L1 certified. Continuing the message of overall health, fitness, and mobility, I love being a part of Kinetix and the community we've built.
